Footprints fossilised in rock left by an amphibious Tetrapod about 370 million years ago. The rocks where these were found are in the 'splash zone' on the seashore.

Gunnera plant in front of a slated house. Gunnera is native to South America. Fuchsia Magellenica Riccartonii, a hybrid first grown, from South American parents, in Riccarton Scotland in about 1830. It grows from cuttings, rarely from seeds.
